The Martins | Eagle River

October 11th 2025

Set on the shores of Catfish Lake, near the town of Eagle River Wisconsin, Indian Point Manor feels like a step back in time especially in October, when the Northwoods settle into their most romantic season. This intimate fall wedding unfolded among towering pines, crisp lake air, bald eagles soaring throughout the day and an old mansion rich with history and character. The warm tones of autumn leaves paired beautifully with the manor’s aged architecture, creating a setting that felt both elegant and deeply personal. The groom has long-standing ties to the area and a cabin nearby, which made the couple’s choice to share private vows on the dock that morning even more meaningful so they can always look out over the lake and remember that quiet, intentional moment together.

I was especially grateful to be back at Indian Point Manor once again. This marked my third wedding on the property, and each time it feels just as special. From candlelit moments indoors to soft golden light drifting across the water, every part of the day felt timeless, cozy, and effortlessly romantic, an unforgettable way to celebrate love in northern Wisconsin and another beautiful couple.
